Mulberry Art Studio – 19 N Mulberry St

Kids Cookie Creation Station!: A Decorate Your Own Cookie table will be set up in the Lobby of Mulberry Art Studios. 100% of proceeds benefit the Sweet Pea Project.  Mulberry Art Studios will also feature several fine art exhibitions including Pamela A. Jacques: Colors of the Wind and Burt Aulisio’s Galactic Art.

School District of Lancaster – Vine St entrance of LCCC

School District of Lancaster Fall Art Show: School District of Lancaster District Art Show, hosted by the Lancaster County Convention Center in the Vine Street Lobby (Vine St. @ Queen St.) featuring 2-D and 3-D work by our students in grades K-12.

Garber/Shaw Studio – 213 N Concord St

Gene Shaw (woodcut prints and found-object furniture) and Tanis Garber-Shaw (jewelry and collage) will show their work at their Lancaster City home. This is a great opportunity to see artists in a personal setting.

Tippitts/Weaver – 137 N Duke St

Independently and through the use of different media, Marion Tippetts and Toby Richards explore the interaction of light and shadow, line and form. Marion Tippetts, artist, designs and constructs white on white minimalist wall sculpture in relief using homasote and mixed media. Toby Richards, professional photographer, exhibits a collection of abstract black and white photographs documenting his experience living along the Susquehanna River.

Christiane David – 142 N Prince St

Always a powerful statement from the road looking in, Christiane David gallery is a mainstay of Gallery Row. This weekend you’ll catch Christiane painting and talking about her work. Take the time to browse and ask questions. Remember, ArtWalk is more contemplative than First Friday. You should linger and soak it in.

Liz Hess Gallery – 140 N. Prince St

Just back from a painting trip to the Emerald Isle, artist Liz Hess unveils her latest collection of paintings featuring her signature red umbrella with Ireland Calling. Sweeping coastal vistas, rolling green hills, quaint hamlets, fields of sheep, and brooding, misty seascapes for which Ireland is known serve as the background for the solitary figure with the red umbrella as it takes the viewer on a journey through Ireland. Liz Hess will be present.

Red Raven Art Company – 138 N Prince St

Always changing and ever-packed with new works, Red Raven is an aesthetic treat. “Stronger Yet…” explores watercolors by Matt Chambers. You can catch Matt on Saturday from 11 – 2 pm. Also showing is The Natural Cycle: oils by Brad Stroman.

Pennsylvania Arts Experience – 114 N Prince St

This is an amazing gallery featuring members of the Pennsylvania Arts Experience Artisan Trail – a group focused on getting art-lovers into artists’ studios.  Fiber artist Sue Reno debuts work from her new series, Flora and Fauna, where she examines in detail animals and plants commonly encountered in Lancaster County

Julia Swartz Art Gallery – 17 N Prince St

The last stop on N Prince Street, Julia Swartz Art Gallery is directly upstairs from Prince St Cafe. Pop on in to see Julia demonstrating her paintings and absorb the energy found in an artist’s studio.

Annex 24 Gallery – 24 W Walnut St

Annex 24 Gallery is hosted and curated jointly by two of Lancaster’s noteworthy artists; Vanessa Reisig & Kenny Kidd.  Their art gallery combines not only photography, sculptures and paintings into a refreshing exploration of contemporary art. There will be pumpkin painting on both days and a live chainsaw carving on Sunday at 12 to 3.

Lancaster Arts Hotel – 300 Harrisburg Ave

Personally, this will be my first stop because I come into Lancaster on Harrisburg Avenue. And it’s a great first stop and is featuring two concurrent exhibitions by Claire Giblin and Robert Heilman. Don’t miss Arts Hotel gallery.

Mommalicious & My Aunt Debbie – 310 N. Queen St

With a name like Mommalicious, how can you resist? Salon Style Exhibition of Collages & Paintings by Alicia Byler: Alicia Byler (aka Mommalicious) has been painting for 20 years and will be delighted to show some of her favorite works during this weekend exhibit. Artist Under the Roof: Emily Truman: This Ol’ Thing? is created by Lancaster city-dweller Emily Truman. Her wearable accessories are fibery, funky, crocheted, knitted, and felted.

The Framing Concept – 328 N. Queen St

Recent Works by Ray Wallace: Fantasy Landscapes done in a Mixed Media by Ray Wallace. The Framing Concept would also be a great place to spend the $50 gift certificate on custom framing.

Barrick Design - 541 N Mulberry St

Those candles rock! And if you’d like your kid (ages 6 to 12) make their own candle, this is a stop you’ll want to make. All day Saturday and Sunday, Rick Faulkner and his staff will show you and your children how to dip their own candles in his showroom.

Wow, there’s only one week left until ArtWalk and to win the $50 gift certificate good at any of the 31 participating stops.

Think about what you could do with that. You could buy ceramic earrings at Isadore Gallery, candles from Barrick Design or something else from any of our 31 participating galleries. It can also be donated to a museum or even to purchase services such as framing.

Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen – 252 N. Prince St

Currently running In the Kitchen, a collection of functional handmade crafts, the Guild is hosting Tracy Shue Cross on Sunday for a meet the artist event. Tracy is a maker of pewter children’s utensils with whimsical characters.

Isadore Gallery – 228 N. Prince St

Only three or four doors down from the Guild’s store is Isadore Gallery featuring still life, landscape and figurative watercolors by local artist Denny Bond and ceramic plates, vessels and jewelry by Pennsylvania artist Klara Borbas.

Pennsylvania College of Art & Design – 204 N. Prince St

PCAD is showcasing The Mosaic Project: Diane Edison & Jerry Pinkney. The Mosaic Project exhibit features intense and realistic portraits by Diane Edison and illuminating and introspective illustrations by Jerry Pinkney. Through their work, both artists explore themes of individual discovery and cultural identity. This is a powerful exhibit that everyone should be sure to see.

Pencilworks Studios and Gallery – 154 N. Prince St

Best known as the brick building emblazoned with ‘Gallery Row,’ Pencilworks is the creation of 2-D artist Carl Woerner and features other resident artisans Christopher Fielding and Pat Rosenberger. All of them are on hand ArtWalk weekend to meet and greet and talk about their work. Stop in!

On Saturday only, Water St Ministries is holding a Family Day event at 210 S. Prince St as part of ArtWalk, and promises to be a must-stop for children’s activities.

There will be a massive mosaic that people can participate in and it is going to be displayed on the building at another time. The prolific, local potter Kevin Lehman is assisting in the creation and installation of the mosaic. He is involved with Lancaster Fall Artwalk as well.

Aside from the mosaic, there will be a kids finger painting wall, free food, and music.

Kathleen Abel Studio - 309 East Chestnut St

A variety of shallow relief paper sculptures await you at Kathleen Abel Studio, just east of Musser Park.

Veleska Jewelry – 348 West Orange St

This place is going to be jumping all weekend long. On Saturday, owner Kathryn Pearce is hosting Lancaster Creative Reuse and Heads-up Lancaster for a special hands-on craft project that benefits Heads-Up Lancaster 100% of proceeds. It’s a $20 donation. On Sunday, the local band Saint Eloise is performing. Make it to Veleska!

Page 4 Art Boutique – 240 North Arch St

On display at Page 4 is an exhibit titled ‘This Side of the Horizon’ and includes art works by Mary Carmen, Patricia Kline and Wakin Torez. Wakin will be exhibiting Crack Glass scluptures. Mary will be showing Seven (7) new oil on canvas in addition to some of her older works. Patricia Kline will be exhibiting watercolors.
